An enhanced capability upgrade for the Model 35040 providing a wider dynamic range for charge (dose) and current (dose rate) measurements and a timer function for charge (dose) measurements.
Introduction
The Model 35040 Advanced Therapy Dosimeter, a reference grade quality assurance instrument, has been enhanced to include a timed-dose function and wider dynamic charge and current ranges.
The Timer Function includes 20 time interval settings from 1 to 9999 seconds that can be selected from the instrument's front panel and may be changed via the supplied customization software. Timed charge and dose measurements for brachytherapy sources and predicted timed charge and dose measurements are now available. The predicted timed measurement can be used to reveal problems early in the measurement interval indicating the source will not meet your needs thus saving valuable time for the physicist.
The Wider Dynamic Range for charge, up to 19.999 mC, and current, up to 1.000 μA, makes the Model 35040 Advanced Therapy Dosimeter ideal for use with the pressurized ion chambers for high dose rate sources. This combination provides for quick and easy checks of manufacturer's stated source activity as recommended by AAPM TG-40 Guideline and for routine HDR monthly quality control.
Service provided
The firmware is replaced and the instrument receives a new electrical calibration and performance verification to the latest specifications.
Customer receives
Upgraded instrument, new instruction manual and new customization software.

The upgrade turnaround is approximately three weeks after receipt of the instrument at the factory in Cleveland. Repairs, ADCL calibration, shipping and taxes additional.
