CLEVELAND, OHIO — Fluke Biomedical announced today that CR RADCHEX, a QA test tool that effectively measures Computed Radiography (CR) performance, is now available in a wireless configuration.
"CR RADCHEX is a multidisciplinary device that allows service and biomedical engineers to calibrate and physicists, inspectors and QA technologists to assess the performance of CR plate readers and the x-ray system automatic exposure control (AEC), " said Gary Kaufmann, Diagnostic product line manager for Fluke Biomedical. "After all, it is a well calibrated AEC that ultimately delivers the proper dose to the patient and CR imaging plate."
CR RADCHEX is comprised of an electronic cassette and software that helps automate the calibration and assessment process of plate readers, CR-AEC systems and density selector/control systems. As a result, it saves many hours of time for staff and support personnel.
