EVERETT, WASHINGTON – Fluke Biomedical announced today that it has released the VT MOBILE Gas Flow Analyzer to meet the demands of the travelingBiomedical Equipment Technician or Field Service Engineer. VT MOBILE is a portable, general-purpose gas-flow analyzer. It is capable of performance testing the broad range of medical gas-flow/pressure devices used in hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, and now moving into homecare. Besides addressing general-purpose needs, VT MOBILE is also equipped with special displays that speed ventilator and anesthesia-machine performance testing.
"We have noted the migration of more medical gas-flow/pressure devices into clinics, doctor's offices, and homecare because there is more care being provided away from the hospital with the same sophisticated devices found inside the hospital. As these devices move to external environments, so must the test equipment that is needed to ensure that these devices continue to function as specified by the manufacturer. We have designed VT MOBILE to address the need of taking the test equipment to the medical device." said Jerry Zion, Marketing Manager. "VT MOBILE lets traveling Biomeds and Field Service Engineers do that." VT MOBILE joins VT PLUS HF in a family of gas flow and pressure-testing devices in Fluke Biomedical's growing catalog. "This is a great benefit for our loyal customers, since they now have a portable gas-flow analyzer with just the right mix of features and functionality for the traveling Biomed," said Gary Hoffman, North America Sales Manager for Fluke Biomedical.
